any T benchmarks?...beno?

I had a horrible thing happen to me saturday morning. Just as I awoke for a recording session, I noticed my computer was off.

"I dont think I shut it down last night...did I?" I thought to myself.

"Oh well, I guess I did"

Then with a press of the power button my heart sank into my underpants...along with some other things.

Luckily I had my trusty work laptop at hand with T1 loaded on it

I have done some troubleshooting and I either lost my processor, or my motherboard AND processor...so now to the bulk of my post.

I know everybody has their own preferences and such, BUT...is there any sort of general conclusion out there...like P4s work better in T than AMD, or Celerons perform suprisingly well?

I need a new processor ASAP...I would rather transfer my project to the machine with all my plugs and such.
