Oh. It's probably Live. I noticed that the Emu stuff acts differently in other hosts. Another thing: if I set the VSTi to have several output buses, I can't select the first one in Ableton Live (both 4 and 5). Only those from #2 onwards. I don't know if it is Live or Proteus X, or just me and my system.
Could be. I'll need to contact Ableton tech support again, first time I got nothing or some spam filter ate any reply I might have got. You probably have to toggle Render Mode (and maybe Extra Buffers) in the PowerFX control panel. This is mentioned in the manual.
