Unsupported Plugins that work on Receptor!

Not only they did not bother to use a different id, but they also return the same name: "MiniMogueVA" What I mean is that when we ask for the name we get "MiniMogueVA" not "MiniMogueLEXUS" Most PC VST hosts will show the plug-in name as the name of the dll without the ".dll" extension. Receptor shows the name as returned by the plug-in.
As I mentioned earlier I did this on purpose to make sure that the soundbanks are compatible.
I can make a seperate download for Receptor-users, with a seperate 4 digit ID and the LUXUS name, no problem.

So it is ok to have the plugin in two seperate files?

Now it is done:
I have uploaded a special verion for MinimogueLUXUS for Receptor users. It has its own name, filename and ID number. So now it should work for you :D
It is at my webpage in the downloads section.

I did a few improvements to: It is possible to set faster attack times. (More snappy sound). I have not changed the factory presets though. So you will have to adjust it yourself.

VCA level from aftertouch disabled to prevent distortion. Aftertouch now only affect cutoff.

New patch: Majesty.

All the best

Wow. That was fast. Thank you.

You still need the -custom-info.xml file, but now the file needs to have the name "MinimogueLUXUSR-custom-info.xml" The contents is the same, namely:

------------
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<vst-plugin-info version="1.2">
<vst-plugin-name>MiniMogueLUXUS</vst-plugin-name>
</vst-plugin-info>

-----------

Again without the dahses. If you do not add this file, the name of the plug-in appears as MiniMogueVA, so you have the same name twice.

Gunnar, would it be too much to ask you to add this file to the zip archive? Thanks.

Somehow I completely missed this paragraph. I was reading very quickly. Also I did not realize that you are the developer. Sorry for the misunderstanding and thank you for you help.

Hello!
I did not understand.
Does it work now? I changed the name and ID number.
I am not totally sure how that file should look.
If you send the file to:
gunnareskinn77@hotmail.com

Then I will include it in the zip.

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<vst-plugin-info version="1.2">
<vst-plugin-name>MiniMogueLUXUS</vst-plugin-name>
</vst-plugin-info>

Dear tconrardy,
I have install String Theory plug-in, it works but I suppoposed it will include different sounds :-( Do you know any free plug-ins for Receptor which would include nice strings (ensemble) sounds, something like program change 49 in GM but in the better quality?
Thanks for helping me in searching of this plug-in.

well..yes

go to algomusic.nl and we have string synthizer on the freeware page. Works great on receptor. However, its more like the older string synths of yesteryear, but it sounds great. theres also some freeware mellotron like synths ( nanosynth ) But also EVE ( free on receptor) has very nice string sounds as well.
