Ever since the press release from AES I have been visiting the Muse/Plugorama/KVR Forums several times a day/night to see if we have our new toys yet.

I find myself waking up in the middle of the night just to check the sites for these new releases. I am loosing some serious sleep over this. Guys, Please help and get these things posted. I'm dyin here...

Seriously, I am very happy and impressed with the receptor and your support. (both on the Forums and the Phone) I think the current receptor is a Great product with a very bright future and the release of ver 1.4 followed by UniWire is going to secure that future for a LONG time.

Thanks for Everything,
Rick Tucker

"Folllowed by uniwire" ??. Please, were can I find out that uniwire is not available or was not included with my brand new receptor ? That is the reason I bought it and my understanding was, and is based on the receptor site info - that it was in it..

I, too, have been waiting for v1.4 software for some time.

I've got Kontakt libraries that I need to load into two Receptors (drummer's and my own), but am hamstrung by the fact that no standalone Kontakt installer is available. Kompakt (which I happily paid for) will not load the libraries properly without screwing up the sample maps. Very disappointing...

A solution would be quickly appreciated, because I am running out of patience, having to choose between two or three sub-optimal plug-in environments, while waiting for Kontakt support.

I would be PERFECTLY happy with a beta, just to get me started on the process (for two machines).

Alternately, it would be EXTREMELY helpful, for those of us whose situations really require Kontakt, to know, ahead of time, what the limitations will be, before we get our hopes up.

I'd love to evangelize this product once it's ready for prime-time, but it is an uphill battle, just for my uses...!

The beta version of 1.4 should be available at the beginning of November, only a week or two away.
