the update lost a bunch of my stuff!

well i downloaded all night long and the update got here by morning so i had my Mackie Plug-ins folder backed up before hand. wehn i installed the thing i found that it had lost all the little folders that i used to have from Mackie other than the mackie plugins i had all my final mix stuff and that but i did not have the little folders for MDA plug-ins as well as all the soft synths plus Amplitube is missing :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

and whats worse they are not on my hard drive according to Mac they are all gone some place.... but i never deleted anything at all :-o and so i need my VST folder which is missing half my tools :cry: what do i do now? reinstall all of my stuff? will this delete my project files if i re-install tracktion from the disk?

:help: I'm in deep trouble right now as all i have are my free plugins that i have downloaded. but i am missing the ones from the Tracktion its self.

if you dont move any of your projects & the vst's are installed & are in a vst folder that T2 is scanning & the vst dll's have the same name as thay did before!

your projects should be safe!

BUT! i dont have a mac so i am speaking from a windows point of vue :shrug:

Take a backup of your data and install fresh. Allthough you can find all these plugins online for free. Why "it" deleted your plugins I don't know, it sounds a bit weird. Have you checked in settings->plugins->directories to search for VST plugins? Is your folder listed?

well i just installed Tracktion all over again and then did the update and everything is back even the few presets that i needed and OS X is running smooth and clean with Tracktion help works fine and it seems all well and working right although i still have one thing missing but i can get it again easy enough. its just a tiny softsynth
