I may be being really stupid, but how on earth do I stop Tracktion's main output meters from displaying live midi data?

Right now, I have a track running that does not peak on playback. But if I then start to jam along to the track as its playing using an external synth via Tracktion, I'm getting the peak 'LEDs' coming on all the time as I hit the notes hard.

Is this a feature or a bug? Or is it me?

feature, albeit, one that really needs to be optional.
