I am going to try to install the BBE Maximizer I got free with the T2 retail copy. This will make the third attemp. However only the first one since todays update on 10\21\05.

It showed up the first time I installed it and then it disapeared. I have found it but can not get it to load and show on the VST list like it did the first time.

This must be where my head is the hardest or I am just Duh on the subject and have not yet caught on in this instance.

Best provide some more information about your setup, hosts, etc.

Check your T2 preferences to see if Tracktion didn't like the BBE plugin and skipped it during the plugin scan. There will be a list of plugins that didn't load if it skipped any of them. My installation of Sonic Maximizer doesn't work with T2 either on my Mac, though it works with all my other audio apps. Beno from Mackie is looking into this, I believe.

Several other people, me included, have had issues getting this plug-in to work with T. There is a thread over on the Mackie forum about it. Beno was supposed to be getting a copy from BBE so he could check out what could be causing a problem but there has been no solution yet that I know of.

Here is a list of what has been skipped in T2 update notice that BBE is in the last line. The other .dlls I don't have a clue as to waht they are or how they got there.

You are 100% correct, I do not know where they came from or how they got there..

Beno can you help me out or is it a lost cause.

I have a Abit AS8 MB, P4 3.0 530J with a asus 8X 256meg video board a Maxtor SATA 7200 rpm with XP Professional and a M Audio 192 sound card. I am running Tracktion2 with the latest update as of yesterday (10-21-05)

A little trick I do: NEVER install anything directly into the VST folder. I always install it onto the desktop then drag in just the .dll and maybe the pdf if there is one (always name it the same as the plugin). If the plugin needs other files to operate (you'll find out quickly enough) I create a dedicated folder for it inside the VST folder. And to be honest, you can usually uninstall the plugin, get rid of all those nasty registry keys....
