How do license transfers work?

Have any of you been through transferring a T2 license? I would like to sell mine, and know how to do the transfer.

ISTR that the license is tied pretty much to the mackie user account, so I guess whoever has access to that account, and can therefore set the machine ids, owns that Tracktion.
