Copying MIDI Notes Between Different MIDI Clips?

I haven't been able to find a way to copy and paste a group of selected MIDI notes from one MIDI clip to another in T2. The copy works fine (at least I see the notes on the clipboard) as well as pasting within the same MIDI clip, but attempting to paste to a different MIDI clip displays a "Nothing to paste" message. Thanks in advance for any help.

I get the nothing to paste message sometimes too, but copy/paste to another clip works.

Make sure to highlight the destination clip first.

Also, sometimes it will paste way off to the right on the destination clip. So far to the right that sometimes I have to extend the length of the clip to find it and then drag it all to where I want it.

That was it -- the notes that I had pasted when the clip was selected went beyond the end of the clip. Thanks for the quick reply!
