Since i'm here..just asking a Q

can you use a UC16 knob box to control the mix on T2? or are there requirements to use a knob box to control the mix? (just volume and pan)

Works fine. The resolution seems to be about the same as the mouse. This is on my PC.

Guess I'm ignorant. HOW do you do it? I assigned it as controller in settings/external controller.Nothing happens. Whats the procedure?

Hee--I made the same mistake! Settings/External Controller is for the two Mackie devices listed there. Both drop-down boxes should say "<no device selected>".

I should add that the UC16 defaults to CC#1 thru #16 on the sixteen knobs. So if you set knob one to control your track one volume for example, you'll be bummed the first time you move your keyboard's mod wheel, since that's also CC#1! But the UC is easy to remap in presets so all's good.

"automation" -> "create midi controller mappings" -> choose knobs / parameters. This is done on a per-edit basis.

:D it's nice to see that someone else owns a UC-16. that seems to be completely obsolete now, i feel like a Sinclair C5 owner! :hihi:
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

:hihi: Mine doesn't get used all that much since I got my Oxygen8, but its really handy for location recording: I like being able to quickly set up rough playback mixes without having to mess about with the mouse, and it doesn't really take much room or setting-up time.. 8)
