I don't know if anyone else has asked Cycling 74 to add Receptor support to their "to-do" list but I tried and got a message back from them saying that they have no plans to add it.

Just thought I'd post this and let people know that I tried. Maybe if more people tried they'd consider it.

I don't know who you talked to, but we are working with them on supporting Pluggo. At this moment it is not at the top of our list, because most customers are asking for Ivory, and other sample libraries from East West, Garittan, and so on. But, we will get to it a little bit later.

There is a high possibility that Pluggo Jr. will be included with or available around the release of receptor version 1.4..

Here's the email I got, including the case number. I'm a registered user of Pluggo.

Re: (Case 7910) Pluggo and Muse Receptor

Hi Dale,
We have no plans, at this point, to support the Receptor. While it is easy to assume that such a thing would be "easy", the process would not be trivial. I'm very sorry.
I hope you continue to enjoy our products despite their incompatibility with this hardware.
Cheers,
Andrew B.

Does that help? I like Pluggo and was hoping to use it. Maybe, down the road, it will run on it. That would be great. I'm not going to dump Pluggo for that reason nor would it change my mind about my Receptor purchase. :)

Sorry for being a pest. :) I thought I was passing on good info right from the source.

Thanks but those plugs aren't the ones I use most often. I'll use Pluggo Sr. on my host machine and be happy. I'll have to wait. It's not a deal killer.

Thanks!

That is a more cautious way of saying the same as I was saying, which is that we would like to support it in the future, but we are not actively working on it right now.

Wow! Very political answers. Too funny. I'm not even going to ask where on the list it is! LOL!

Either way, Pluggo doesn't work, regardless of the spin. No bother, I'll find something that will work in it's place. I really like Wheat, Rye, Slice-n-Dice and Fragulator, though. I'll have to look and see where I use them.

I look forward to the day that Pluggo makes it towards the top of the list. Please don't promise anything.... there's nothing worse that telling someone something is going to happen and it doesn't.

Speaking of Rye... I could go for a nice Crown and Coke!

See ya!
