Cannot register Electrik Piano or Guitar Rig (Komplete3)

I wasn't sure whether to ask Muse or NI this question, but I thought I would start with you folks.

I bought Komplete 3 which includes Electrik Piano and Guitar Rig. When I try to install them using the files from your site (which worked PERFECTLY for Absynth3) I have a problem.

Komplete 3 authorizes all the products with a single "bundle" S/N. When I enter this number on your installer, it says it's invalid.

So I launched the product on my PC and look at the S/N for the individual product. your installer takes this number fine, but the NI Site won't let me do this...it says:

"This Product Is a Part Of a Bundle
The product you are trying to authorize is already registerd as a part of a product bundle. It cannot be authorized as a single product. Please use the NI Komplete installer to authorize all bundle products."

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

And by the way, my Receptor ROCKS!! Just got it today, have succesfully crossgraded a few things, and user installed Absynth3 and Atmosphere, and even installed an "unsupported" or three. No problems until now, and this one is obviously an NI thing, but I'm still hoping you can help me work this out!

Unfortunately, the answer is that you cannot do this. We do not support Komplete at this time, but it is on our list. We support Elektrik piano and Guitar Rig as separate products, but not Komplete.

The serial number from Komplete does not work with the individual products and vice versa. You can either wait until we support Komplete (it's a complicated technical issue so we cannot predict when we will be able to fix it) or buy the individual programs if you need them now. I'm not sure if NI would give you a discount on the individual products.

For anyone out there in the same boat as me, thought you might like to know that I emailed NI sales with the text below. Will let you know what they say.
Hi,

I have recently purchased a Receptor from Muse. As an owner of Komplete2 (and recent upgrade owner of Komplete3) I happily purchased Receptor "Crossgrades" for FM7, B4, Pro53 and Kompakt (all part of Komplete). Thank you for the prompt manner in which you authorized these cross-grades (wish all vendors were this prompt!).

I also used the Receptor "user installable" method to install Absynth3, which I received as an update to Komplete2 (with it's own serial number)

But since the individual items in Komplete3 (specifically Electrik Piano and Guitar Rig 1.0) do not have their own INDIVIDUALLY REGISTERABLE serial numbers, I cannot user-install them on Receptor. The Receptor folks say they cannot handle the "Komplete 3 all-in-one Serial number" and your site will not let me individually register the serial number I see in the info box for EP (<...edited out...>) or GR <...edited out...>). Their user-installable authorization program will accept these valid numbers for those products, but then your site says "You cannot individually register these products, they are part of a bundle". Muse says that it might be a long time before they can support your new "bundle authorization" scheme, since there is a major technical challenge for them.

Really the only reason I PURCHASED the Komplete3 upgrade from K2 was the get these two programs and to get them both on Receptor, and it was only MARGINALLY cheaper than buying these two alone, which I now wish I had done instead.

So, can you let me register these two product separately for the purpose of getting them on my Receptor? Alternatively, could you sell me an individual license for one of both of them at a SUBSTANTIAL discount (since I am a Komplete3 customer) for the sole purpose of being able to register them on my Receptor? (sort of the same thing as a cross-grade) ?

Thanks in advance

Good new, bad news:

Good news: NI Sent me new serial numbers which I can use INDIVIDUALLY to register EP and GR (apart from the bundle).

Bad News: I cannot figure out how to make the "Registration Tool" on the Receptor prompt me for the new serial number. Even after uninstalling EP and restarting the Receptor, when I re-install the user-download for EP and run the registration tool, it DOESN'T prompt me for the new serial number (it's just remembering the old one I entered, which is invalid since it's tied to the bundle). HOW can I make the registration tool "Forgot" the old serial number so I can enter the new one?

Thanks in advance

Both fixes received, both products now registered and working.

Thanks again to the Muse guys for absolutely STELLAR support.

And thank to the NI folks for giving me unbundled serial numbers (and all I had to do was ask!) ;-)

Playing the Electrik Piano's E7 clav through Guitar Rig now on my Receptor. Unbelievable!!! More stomp boxes than you can shake a stick at.
