Tracktion Software

Little application to play midi instruments with your computer keyboard. Thats the only function I'm missing in Tracktion so I programmed this little utility.

Some special features:
- Uses a key hook. No need for being the top most application to play.
- Blocks all keys to prevent unwanted actions in Tracktion like stop the recording while playing eg

Just have a look, maybe it is usefull for you too.

This is great - I've become used to use the computer keyboard from using Reaktor in standalone mode. It sort of work in some cases...

Awesome...In my early days of music making, I always used standard cheapo midi drums that were on my soundblaster card...my only drawback was the speed at which I could make beats with the mouse.

Ill try this when I get home.

The old version worked fine, but the new version doesn't seem to work on my laptop. Blocking works, but not triggering...

Dell inspiron 5150
Pentium 4 (3.2g)
2 Gigs memory
Windows XP Pro
Tracktion 2
Echo Ingigo I/O

I tried everything and un-installed and then re-installed Midi Yoke also.

Any ideas?

No~

I'll try that!

But the earlier version had an extra widget in the folder for a german keyboard layout or something like that i seem to remember. Maybe it did it automatically in v1 but not the new one?

Little update on this:

- Block function is joined with activity function
- New velocity menu for easy access to different velocity values
- TracktionKeys can be minimized to the systray
