The Receptor Remmote on Macs does not pass right-click to Receptor. That can be a problem with certain plug-in's GUI. The suggested solution was to use a monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected directly to Receptor.
Maybe this was suggested before, but there is a much simpler solution: use Receptor Remote on your Mac, but also connect a USB mouse to Receptor and use it when you need to righ-click. You can actually use it all the time with Receptor Remote, if you wish.

It turns out I misunderstood how Receptor Remote works. You do not need a separate USB mouse.
In the options panel - click on the little disclosure triangle in the lower left corner of the dialog that shows when you start the application - you can choose choose Control for the right mouse button. Then, control-click with the left button is translated into right click, and right click is also transmitted as a right click.
However, if you do this you lose control-click. Control-click in Receptor resets sliders to their defaul value. For instance, if you pan hard right or left, then control-click anywhere on the pan slider, the pan will jump to center. If you set the "Right Button" to "Nothing" you can use control-click to reset slider, if you set it to "Control" then you can use the right button.
I hope this table will make it clear:
You can also use command, and then you can still use control-click to reset sliders.
