If not PMI Bösendorfer, has anyone tried this on Receptor?

Post

I love PMI's "Old Lady", but I am no expert.

Does it work with Receptor ? :O~

I wonder if "Ivory" has trouble in customs in some countries.

(all kidding aside, I hear this is very good)

Isn't Ivory Macintosh only? If that's true it will not work with Receptor.

My understanding is that the Window version will be available later. When there is a Windows version someone should try it.

Hi again.
Now receptor seems to be very affordable and I've read that Muse has progressed with Ivory. What are the latest news?

I'm using PMI Bösendorfer on Receptor and it works well.

Ivory plays great on the Receptor. We have some bugs on our end to iron out before release but we are working on it.

Cool, I have Ivory for the PC. Best sampled pianos I have ever heard BUT very taxing on my PC. What do you mean by "bugs to iron out befor release"? What is a "release"

Thanks!

You cannot simply take your PC version of Ivory and install it in Receptor. You need to use our installer. We are working on fixing all the bugs and we will release an installer very soon.

Same for Colossus, except that Colossus has been released for a while. As soon as you get your Receptor, you will have to register it at www.plugorama.com, then you can immediately download the Colossus installer. After you install Colossus, you copy the libraries to Receptor, then you need to authorize it on the NI website.

Everything is explained at plugorama.com.

Thanks! I take it that the re-authorization for, let's say Colossus with NI will be exactly the same as I did when I authorized it on my PC?

Yes. If you authorized Colossus only on one PC, you still have an authorization left. Authorizing Receptor will be very similar to authorizing a second PC.

There are a few of extra steps, you save the requect on Receptor, authorize using the browser on your PC, copy the authorization code back to Receptor.

Can either Ivory or Akoustic Piano be installed on Receptor yet?

Please identify all the steps necessary to authorize Ivory on Receptor. I am confused when you say, "copy the authorization code back to receptor?" I have not found a method to copy text from my PC to my Receptor. Obviously cut and paste do not work in this scenario.

I see you gave the same reply regarding Ivory back in November. Do you have a timeline of when Ivory will be able to be installed on Receptor? What about Akoustic Piano?
