This is a text poll, not a checkbox one. I'm just curious as to what the trends are among the users here?

Please, also specify your OS, and feel free to comment on how you like it.

I suppose I should have gone first: I have an M-Audio FireWire Solo, which I switch between XP and OS X. I like it OK, better than the M-Box I used last as far as latency goes, but I'd like to upgrade in the near future - maybe the Mackie Onyx or something.

rme Fireface.

Ive used echo products MOTU stuff, and I must say that the fireface is just in another league. The digicheck software and total mix are so powerful that it would make it hard for me to leave rme. If I want to upgrade coverters (which are very good)I will probably just go with apogee or something and keep the fireface.

Hello, Roanoke. Croatan here, a ways east of you.

M-Audio Firewire 410, WinXP. Like it fine except the assignable rotary controller on the front frequently "forgets" how to work until the next time I boot. I usually use the software sliders anyway, so it's no big deal to me. YMMV.

M-Audio Firewire 410 on both Mac and PC (I have two of them). Win2000 and OSX 10.3.9. I like it a lot.

In case anyone is looking to buy a M-Audio Firewire 410, I'm selling one for $100 + $10 shipping. It's scratched up, but otherwise functional. I don't use it now that I've upgraded to the RME Fireface.

tuz, ah feel your pain. If you've got a c-note and a dix to spare, you might want to check out droolmaster0's Firewire 410 (see a few posts up + in Marketplace). Nice little interface.
