I think IK multimedia has provided everybody a bit TOO MUCH information with only fancy UI and tits to back it up. that's the root of all evil in this thread, me thinks.

I think this thread is awesome...purely selfish reasons...but a few have used it to cast judgement upon me...and I thank you all...I had a great month in October on my page...though those who judged me thought they were hurting me, in fact they did me favor as 100s of hits came back to this thread....I also had the second largest download month. So I guess those who did stop by liked what they heard. I have had better months, but those are times when I do a new song and promote my page....which I have done none of this month.

So see folks, the moral of the story is that even bad and negative comments are good...when you judge someone and another disagees with that judgement who is it that looks the fool...the judgee or the judge?

Kingston: I'll agree with too much info too early. And too much silicone enhancement, without a doubt. :-D I missed 90% of the thread (thank goodness).

You needn't worry about my getting too serious about this -- I take very little seriously that doesn't cause anyone actual harm of some sort. My philosophy is based mostly on the old "Pogo" comic strip, as good a basis for life guidance as any yet discovered.

I don't see anyone hyping AT2 up. Mostly people disappointed with a dodgy marketing scheme, from what I can tell.

Yeah, patience is a virtue. That's all I can say. I don't know when AT2 will be out. I do know that it is complex and IK doesn't want to just throw it out there until it is ready, no matter what sort of anticipation there may be. I agree with that. Plus I know of a few surprises that relate to it that are so cool I can barely contain myself. However, I have to because I am not allowed to say anything.

Audio examples, however, are coming some time soon. I've heard some of them and they are impressive. They are being put together now. I'll let you know if I find out more about when they will be available. At least that will give you guys something to listen to and think about.

Btw, this is a pretty big thread. It's November now though.

No no, that's fine. I expect one of the involved people to hype up. But Squids isn't the thread. Having Squids hype up doesn't mean that the whole thread is composed of people hyping up. That's all I meant.

The rest of your post is exactly what I mean, though... there were mostly people in THIS thread at least reacting NEGATIVELY to the tits, not loving them. And rather than waiting for the messiah, I think people are generally (with a few exceptions of course) showing that they're waiting with a bit of skepticism. Those who have 'faith' by and large seem to be people who were also happy with AT1, so why WOULDN'T they be waiting with a bit of hopeful anticipation?

look. you can hear the demos of the algorithm. I've proved that it's the best of its kind. (for now)

It's unfortunate I can't make a plugin out of it, but I'm not making unjustified claims. I'm just telling people what it does. *and letting them hear it*

I could put images of tits in that thread if it makes you feel more secure about liking something.

I never said that you did or didn't demo your algorithm, that was not the issue. I just said that you were hyping it too. Hyping ( as in extreme or agressive promotion of certain product) is hyping whether backed by samples or not. Btw, wether the samples you provided to backup your claims are good enough of a match for the hype created in your thread is purely subjectif, and I will leave this to the board's members judgments.

I even said it in the thread: I'm not looking for feedback. I know perfectly well what it does and doesn't do. It is a simple demostration. And let's be serious now, I'm not exaggerating there. It really is that good.
