Not only for that. I can imagine that this little thing will play well with filters like Filterscape, Quad Frohmage, or even Audidamages new 907 Filter. And it looks really nice! ;-)

Someday I'll look back on all this and laugh... until they sedate me.

Homer Simpson does this thing when he's thinking about something he likes very much: it's a sound like hm-hm-hm-hm-hm, falling in pitch slightly each time, usually accompanied by a slight shudder of pleasure e.g. "Donuts hm-hm-hm-hm-hm". Well, I've been doing that all day since I read this post,

So, what bmanic said ;)

Oh... - Now that you say it... but they're tweaked a bit, aren't they? Or does the PC version sound that much different :hihi:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it is Friday isn't it? :D

Indeed!

So, what have we got today... lemme think...

Yeah... the week went into the finish of the miniature Zebra. This was a good decision. Firstly, I finally fixed a lot of tiny and/or critical bugs. And then... the beta group made almost 300 presets for the miniZeb in this week. This shows two things: A) the concept of Zebra's oscillators is cool, but... B) the user interface of the Z2 prototype needs an overhaul already.

It's very difficult to stuff all the complexity into an intuitive GUI. But maybe it just takes learning the oscillator in the miniZeb to feel comfortable in the big one. I don't know. I think it has to become better though.

I'm slightly depressed because of the workload until Dec 1st. I think today will see the beginning of the next big issue remaining: Modulation Matrix. I feel uncomfortable to put these into the bottom panel. Too many targets and sources are just there, hidden underneath other tabs. This was a small flaw in Zebra1.5, but it would be a mistake to leave it there. I think I'll put it under the Grid right into the center of Z2's GUI. Or I make them kinda floating panes that one can drag around. But latter takes more cpu in the graphics realm, so I'm pretty reluctant on this kinda stuff.

Or maybe I just take a day off.

We'll see...

Cheers,

;) Urs

Yeah, I took a nap from 5 to 7. Does that count?

Gotta hurry now to get some food and a pack of smokes.

ModMatrix concept and implementation get in shape. I can copy/paste a lot from the Z1.5 implementation, but I gotta taylor that into the new scheme... I'll probably bother with the user interface tomorrow. We'll see!

Cheers,

;) Urs
