HI
Playing around with some Beatmonkey live recorded loops last night and found that LiveSlice does a really smooth and artifact/glitch free job of slicing and replaying them.
I can see how people might like a larger view of slices/waveform - I think anyone who does their surgical thing at this resolution likes as big a picture of what is going on as possible.

some comments :
1. would be nice to have better quality on pitch change
sounds like linear interpolation (spline would be way better)
2. i'd like to have longer time values for attack and release..mostly for attack
3. (FR) pitch envelopes on slices
4. (FR) filters on slices
with cutoff/resonance/envelopes
5. maybe even the amp envelope could be graphically displayed on slices?

until then just use your favourite filter and control it using the possibility to output midi-cc.lalo wrote:ohm wrote:Filters... in v2.5... maybesounds fair
that's the point why i didn't think it's necessary to have internal filters when that topic came up in the beta-phase.

Good point actually. I haven't even looked into what Midi1 and Midi2 even are yet. What a great idea!R.A.W. wrote: until then just use your favourite filter and control it using the possibility to output midi-cc.

but saving was disabled by mistake so there'll be an update soon where it's reactivated.
