Whats the shareware wrapper thats out there?...I think it's called FX-W4 er sumthin.....

The one thing to remember about the VB freebie is that it doesn't do MIDI- hence no DXis or controllers
It can still be pretty handy, though...

VB is fine if you just want effects but if you want to use instruments the only way would be to use a host within a host like Console or the FL Studio plugin.
