Firewire 410 on XP pro, along w/ a Novation X-Station for my laptop. Satisfied w/ the FW410, not yet sure on the X-Station...I've had some minor noise and latency issues, that might be attributable to lame laptop I/O.

RME Fireface 800 with Fostex AC2496 via ADAT on WinXP SP1. Prior to this was using STAudio M-Port and ADCIII - the RME is in a totally different league!

Motu 828mkII, Win Xp SP2, Marshall V69 Mogami, and a Johnson Jstation s/pdif into the Motu.
I had an 828 first verison prior to this and I've had great luck with both on Mac and PC.

I use M-Audio Delta 44. I bought it last year because I wanted better sound quality than the integrated Realtek chip on my motherboard and because I needed to get hardware Virus connected. I chose the Delta because of positive reviews and because I got it cheap as secondhand. While I have no experience of more expensive cards, the Delta sounds very good to me (certainly better than the integrated Realtek) and it is enough at this relatively early stage. It unfortunately lacks a separate headphone output. My OS is W2K.

MOTU 828MkII for performing and MBox2 for home use. Apple 10.4.2
Have been using the MOTU for a little over a year and had no issues with OSX. No issues with the Mbox 2, either.
