I tried to install MicroTonic and it fails. I know that it pops up a bunch of dialog boxes the first time you run it so it's not surprising. I really like that little plug in, too. Dang. I wrote to the developer to see if he/she could help by getting in contact with Muse.
The error message is:
rm-host: HostPluginList.cpp::AddDescription[963]: Signing failed: /c/Program Files/VST Plugins/Unsupported Plugins/MicroTonic/MicroTonicVST.dll
rm-host: HostPluginList.cpp::AddDescription[963]: Signing failed: /c/Program Files/VST Plugins/Unsupported Plugins/MicroTonic/MicroTonicVSTMulti.dll
What does it mean?
Thanks.
MicroTonic?

I got it working, but not fully. The GUI is a bit screwy, and the sequencer doesn't function. However, I can play the sounds via MIDI. At this point, its usefulness was too limited due to the GUI problem, so I took it off.

Did you try sync'ing to an external device? What about faceless mode?Scot Solida wrote:I got it working, but not fully. The GUI is a bit screwy, and the sequencer doesn't function. I've seen weird GUI's on several plug-ins. It would be nice if there was a way to get a version for each plug-in that has simple GUI's. So much these days depends on looks and not performance. I saw someone say that they prefered one studio monitor over the other because of how it looked.
Thanks.
