define crazy effects. You could search, there is was plenty of topic.
delaydots.com SpectrumWorx can do crazy spectral effects
or OhmForce plug-ins are relatively crazy

PSP NITRO is one of the best (the best imho) with a lot of bautiful FX preset... it has everything you need and more...

How about the Ohm Force plugins

Quad Frohmage, OhmBoyz etc.

Maybe too expensive, but would certainly fit your tastes. I think they have free standalone versions though

or you try the ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTS 2 XT (also build with REAKTOR and maybe available on EBAY) - the included FAST FX plugin can go really crazy and will lift you up where ever you want...

!!! it is important to buy the 'XT' version, it means that you dont need to use REAKTOR for it !!!

Synthedit may well be the way forward. Whether or not teh proffesional developpers use it, it's fantastic for knocking up crazy bits and pieces to use in your own stuff.

Also, I've never used Reaktor, but I'd guess that being familiar with semi low level modular stuff will stand you in good stead if you do get it.
