Stepchild and sfz in T2

Excuse my ignorance here, but until now Ive always used prerecorded loops for drum tracks, well Ive just discovered stepchild and have it on a track with sfz loaded with a drum kit,

Ive layed out some nice grooves in stepchild, I press play, and now have some nice home made rythmes to jam with.

But heres my question....(I might be barking entirely up the wrong tree here...but then, I might be just a few clicks away from rythmic bliss), how can I record my carefully constructed grooves on to a track in Traction?

ahhh...now I see... insert new clip into track, drag stepchild and sfz into clip and hit render.....sweeeeeet!!!
