What about me? I am a big artist even if no one else in the world noticed it :hihi: .
Eventually something intelligent will appear written here. Watch this space.

I dunno Chase, it just wasn't cool (i.e. if you wanted to play it cool you could have posted those things in the Grid, now it seems like a bit of behind-the-back kinda gossip). It's not that we're thick out there in the Grid (I use "we" since I'm longer and more frequent there) and wouldn't get it.

IMHO the atmosphere at Grid in average seems a lot more relaxed, friendly and helpfull (not to say that KvR-ers aren't those things), and besides, with the sheer size of this forum that I beleive is much bigger than Grid or even the whole DOA, statistically there would be (and indeed are) more clueless people here to collect gems from.

And finaly, a lot of those qoutes make sense, even more if they were put back in proper context. It's actually rather silly to assume that people will neccesarily find opinions different than yours funny or stupid.
Obviously a computer still can’t throw a television out of a hotel window or get drunk and be sick on the carpet, so there is little danger of them replacing drummers for some while yet. -- Nick Mason

You would think :hihi:

Jay Kay, of coarse.

This place tends to be more knowledgable about the technical stuff but can seem full of angry old white people who enjoy a good flaming when DOA tends to be better for production technique and is a hell of a lot more friendly. If you produce DnB, posting at both is awesome to get the best of both.

talk is cheap, if you can't bring it...that's all that matters.

DOA is full of it. So's this place, but over here people have enough experience to cloak their insults and utter despise in cleverer retorts...

kvr is a site dedicated to audio software developement. This field is so big these days that people from many walks of life meet here, and obviously engineers and musicians are concerned parties. But at base this site is about audio software and products related to it.

And in that sense there are all kinds of people here who have 'material released worldwide'.

Actually i respect people over there more as DnB Producers (members of noisia post there, and I would give myself up to all 3 of them for their talent).

But zero developers post there. In the land of DnB, KvR is for Dev's, DOA is for the artists.

However, I believe if you were to average it out, The KvRian would win.

We should have some kind of Family Fued.

KvR vs DOA isn't the issue here, I kind of thought it was people having problems with your attitude. Nice try though.

you missed the point. On DOA we don't talk about making software, we talk about making music. If you don't like the terminology we use, whatever...fact is, we get it done. Sorry, this thread just seems like a poor attempt at a windup with no backing from anyone with tangible credibility.
