I´m looking for the best available sample collection of ethnic wind instruments - flutes, duduks, etc.

World Winds (Akai S-1000, 187 EUR) by Ilio has been on my list for a long time. But lately the Quantum leap RA ethnic sample collection by East West (Kontakt-player, 733 EUR) has got my attention.

There´s a big price difference between the two, of course, since RA has all kinds of ethnic instruments, not just winds.

But if I want the best, which one should I choose? And is the difference in quality big or very subtle?

I use Kontakt 2 as sampler.

Thanks for help

I'd be shocked if we are not on your list. :)

*You can get the giga version to use with Kontakt. Note that the giga version has no 'keyswtich' programming...but you have access to the raw samples nevertheless.
