This is a quick demo mp3 from the RM-4 version

This kit has the cymbals spread out better (I know some got confused by the Bells of the cymbals getting hit), added a china HH 14” and a HH 12” splash (just one hit from them ;) ) and there are 10” – 12” – 14” – 15” and 16” Toms with Evans and Remo heads plus a Steel Snare 14” hit with either wood or nylon tipped drumsticks – the Kick has been re-done plus I added a bit of distortion and a SubSonic thump, I ran out of pads but there is room on the RM 4 to add extra sounds but assign them to different keys, so from the keyboard or piano roll you will be able to audition them.

The sounds were recorded at 24-96 and then converted to 16 bit 44.1

Download the WAVES - RM4 - DR008 from the Auditorium here

or from the AudioShots site here

Archives are 30 MB in size, typically expanding to 150 MB on the disk once extracted.

Peter

Someone asked for the layer info.

So by pads its

Kick 1 – two layers fast kick 20”

Kick 2 D – three layers, low kicks with a tad of variation and main distortion on the mid velocity 20”

SUBSONIC – one very low rumble kick for those with subs

SSNARE 1 – Two layers for a Single hit Steel Snare 14”

SSARE 2 – Two layers each with a double hit on the Steel Snare 14”

BSNARE – just a couple of layers of the high toned 10” snare so you can see where it is in the kit from version 1

LFTOM 16 – Five layered 16” Floor Tom

HAT CL – 3 Layers of a peddle hat, 2 lower velocity layers from the closed hat being hit with a wood tipped drumstick, the higher velocity layer going from open to close with the peddle

MFTOM 15 – Four layers from a resonate but low toned 15” Tom

HAT OC – Two layers lower velocity open to close peddle, higher velocity a hit n rattle fx to close peddle

RLTOM 14 – Three layers, Low resonate 14” Tom

HAT OP – Four layers of an heavy open hat (carried over from version one)

RETOM 12 – Three layers from a 12” Tom

RETOM 10 – Four layers from a 10” Tom

CRASH 16 – 5 layers from a heavy 16” crash

CRASH BELL 16 – 3 Layers from the bell only getting hit on a 16” crash cymbal

RIDE 20 – Three layers from a heavy 20” Ride

HCHINA14 – 1 Layer hit from a Hand Hammered 14” china cymbal

RIDEBELL - 1 Layer from a the Bell part of the 20” ride

HHSPLASH 12 – 1 Layer from a Hand Hammered 12” Splash

Hit the things harder for the broad open long toned or fx’ed sounds – like the cymbal crashes.

Peter

Thanks for these kits,I haven't tried this one yet but v1. was excellent. I've used your more unusual samples like the balloon, noise and rain samples in a few things, they sound great through some of the camelspace presets.

Thank you johne981 :D,

Hey that’s great news about the noise samples :band: , I feel compelled to make some more of those now – its given me an idea, will upload that tomorrow :D

Peter
