Is pop music at its bottom?

Never mind the grand scheme of things; I'm just talking about a branching out from whatever your current daily interests may be. Hence the comment about age. Given a little more experience, this type of commentary looks somewhat young. Which is fine, but Audiowhore's bombastic manner is not at all diplomatic, and in that way he's doing a good job at emulating the 'non-thinkers' he apparently finds so objectionable.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

What he may lack in diplomacy he makes up for in sheer brilliance!

pfft. Like the world is going forward... I heard generation 'y' (1979 and above) is gonna suffer from depression more than any other generation due to unrealistic self expectations, and they all wanna be ultra successful rich millionaires. So basically we are getting greedier. And if we cant make it we are gonna top ourselves or something. Gonna f**k up the world even more..
If people would only just be happy with less hey..

I'm sorta hoping in 2012 the world will b0rk itself. That way there's a chance I wont have to pay my student loan back.

Noun, meaning something which is broken, buggered or generally not fully functional. Probably derived from a typo of "broken" or "broked"

Yep... "Downward Spiral" indeed a very good analogy for the state we're all in, but I have hope, because when we lose hope who knows what'll happen - the end of the spiral?
Wars, religion and ignorance, terrorism/economic inbalance and femine, devastating environmental pollution and just ignoring the bad signs which mother nature gives us, insanely bad way of getting our energy and ignoring clean energy resources, meat-eating and viruses, over-population... now I'll have nightmares, again.
Yep, it's mostly because of money, and that's the main problem. How can you tell somebody to lose his/her profits for the benefit of the human kind? No way jose...
Cheers lads, I'm shutting down now...
It's really nice to be aware of the fact that there's still people that think like that. It's very comforting.
Again, best wishes!

I just reckon a society that is based on fear and fads is a long way from enlightenment.

Right on brother.. The next step in human evolution may have to be something that replaces money.. Perhaps Love.. I aint even stoned too.Yep... One more thing about age or aging: the older you get, the less you give a feck about such things and watch your own arse and enjoy life. Just in my experience, though. I feel I don't care about world's problems as much as I cared 10 or 20 years ago.

I used to feel that way too. But reduce everything down to the size of vibrating energy (strings if you like) there is nothing that seperates one from the other. There is no 'you' or 'me'.. Atoms are just empty space really. Its all an illusion created by our quantum brains. Life is a big VSTi. So by saying we are seperate from other objects and hurting them, we are hurting ourselves (maybe - just a thought).. So maybe there really is such thing as karma (scientifically aswell)..One more thing about age or aging: the older you get, the less you give a feck about such things and watch your own arse and enjoy life. I don't listen to the radio/tv as much as I used to in the "pre-mp3" days.
But when I do I mostly hear very bad quality music.
There are definitley some very good songs as well.
But there are very few (if any) pop artists who are able to come up with good stuff constantly. (There were more in the past, IMO.)
Has everything already been done?
I keep hearing remakes of old songs, which sound very retarded, like that "Beverly Hills Cop" theme remake... you know. And some other remakes from the early '90s.
I haven't heard a good pop-rock song in a while. Only some mediocre stuff like "Have a nice day". WTF?
maybe this is your turnaround point
make something

What is it with all these doom merchants ? The world's in great shape compared to other eras of history. Try to get dental work done in the 1700s, or a minor operation in the Middle Ages. Or if you're a young male the last few decades have been the only time in history you wouldn't have been drafted to fight in some colossully-deadly war. Got kids ? Then thank God you live now and child mortality is so low.
Now, get on with life you little whingers.
