final mix factory presets

I cant get the factory presets for final mix to load. Final mix itself will come up but no presets. Do i need to reload tracktion all together or is there something else thanks...

aargh - yes!
Old bug, re-introduced! I hoped, they would have finally fixed it now... *sigh*
As a workaround: Click on the "menu" button beneath the preset names. Select the entry "Load Final Mix" (strange menu name - wouldn't "load preset" make more sense?
) and point to the FinalMix folder within the plugins folder. Look for a folder called "FinalMix presets" filled with *.vfi files. There you go. Once you have loaded a preset this way, You can step trough the files as before. FM remembers the folder until next start of T2!

thanks...i knew they where in there when i first loaded the software...then started thinking i was just goin crazy...damn plug in fairies strike again

If they aren't loading automatically, go to the directory containing them, select them all and view the properties (PC) or Get Info (Mac). Set them to read only (PC) or locked (Mac) if they aren't. That could be the cause.
