Personally I think you've created/started a thread on a contentious issue that is so far fairly civilized (then again it's only page 4).

I was just joking. Still, good points here. So far it seems very positive.
About my cousin, is just that he also annoys me on other ways, warez is only 25% of the annoyience. (is there such a word?!)

I think its lame to sell cracked soft.
I think its lame to make money using warez, hitting on a release.
I think its lame to ask support on a forum when u are using cracks.
Its all f**ked up, cuz of those cracks a lot of shit is comming out in labelland, its killing music.

Personally I think Ebay should take some wrap for all the cracked software available on their site.
The reporting button is hidden somewhere obscure (I've never found it) and really - would it hurt them so much to employ someone to scan this stuff!!?
Kind regards
Dave Rich

Oh yeah ebay is definately wrong.
I reckon they really couldn't care less, they making their cut & turning a blind eye for the most part.

maybe we should spread some propaganda saying that Al Quaeda are selling the cracked stuff on ebay
Lets see how long they'd put up with it then
Kind regards

eBay are pretty good at detecting pirate software - they have a team dedicated to protecting copyright holders interests. I think it's called Vero or something. From what i've heard they close illegal sellers down quite quickly; within a couple of weeks at the most.
eh?

----The Vero program only even "works" at all, if the copyright holder registers with Ebay, then reports each warez dealer's auction themselves. And considering the week or two response time, good luck having Ebay stop/catch anyone but the most regular warez dealers who list multiple items every single week.Dunbar wrote:eBay are pretty good at detecting pirate software - they have a team dedicated to protecting copyright holders interests. ----Ebay makes money coming and going, they are NOT out to stop any listings or sales if they don't have to. Listing fee - whether an item sells or not, Final Value fee - if/when an item does sell. Again, they make money coming and going, there are no bad deals on Ebay according to their bank statement.

Yeah, go ahead and feel like a superior being condemning wares. Make the world a better place.
"He who is without sin casts the first stone" (is that right? I'm neither english nor religious).
I suspect WK has never owned a single pirated c64 game in his live then.
this thread stinks to much..

With a H2o logo on it and "dont make money using warez"
In fact bugger it, behead them & sell their families into slavery.

Aren't DEMO versions suposed to be the "try before you buy" ?! And don't say DEMO are limited, I was able to DEMO pretty much every software that came out even with limitations...
