Yo!
Can anyone help me? I loaded up 8 plug-ins in the mixer to switch from one sound to another during live performances and sometimes layer sounds. But when I play a chord, the CPU meter shoots to the end of the meter and it does a digital type distortion and clipping of the sounds.

I have installed 2GB of memory. Is it seeing the memory? Or is there something else I need to set or adjust. How can I check for memory usage?

Thanks for your help.

Sounds like you are using all 8 plugs at once, or a few that are CPU intensive.Try using one at a time and see which plug is giving you problems. Also you can see your Mem usage on the setup page I am pretty sure.I am not a Muser, just a user :-)

If you use the Mute function of the mixer, all your plug-ins will use CPU, and depending on which plug-ins you use, 8 instances can be more than the CPU can handle. If instead of using Mute you Bypass the entire channel, then that perticular channel will not use any CPU.

The Bypass button is at the very bottom of each channel on the MIX page, to the right of the channel number.

Hey Y'all,

Thanks for the tips. I will attempt to try them on my next gig. By the way, is it possible to mute a channel from a controller keyboard? (I use a Keystation pro 88 and a radium 49.)

I would love this feature myself..or a keyboard short cut on the qwerty.

To mute from a MIDI controller send CC# 109. To bypass the entire channel use CC# 116. Please read the manual and the updates, it's all in there.
