Sorry about the delay in getting an answer out to you.
Receptor's hard drives are FIELD UPGRADEABLE which means you can either order an upgraded drive from your dealer or you can order one direct from Muse Research.
The drive will come fully configured and ready to install, so you'll just swap the drives out and away you go. Be advised, you'll want to back up your presets before doing the swap.
If you would like to purchase one from Muse Research, please contact sales@museresearch.com and we will respond with the pricing information.
Sorry about the long delay, and I'm surprised that the upgrade info isn't readily available in the knowledge base or elsewhere in the forums.... I'll get that fixed straight away.

And what about the situation when I upgrade my Receptor with 200GB harddisk in future?
In this time I will have a lot of user presets done and of course I would like to use them also on new bigger harddisk.
But copying into directory "Banks and Patches" is not possible (write operation into this folder is not permited). I am using Windows Commander in XP.
Is the only situation to work out all user patches of each plug-ins from beginning or do you have some utility which unlocks Receptor?
I thing that this question will need solve most Receptor user´s in future ...

You copy your bank and patches to your computer, install the new hard drive, copy the bank and patches to Receptor's "Drop Installers Here" folder, then press the install button. However, your MSB and LSB will be re-assigned. In a future version we will have the option of preserving the MSB/LSB.

The drive comes pre-formatted and ready to install in your Receptor, all you need to do is copy your presets over like Dan explained above.
Here is our take on "really large drives": Larger drives=more platters=thinner platters=more fragile + more wind resistance=more heat.
As a result, we do NOT recommend touring with drives over 200GB since they have more/thinner platters. I have personally used a 400GB drive for the last year in my unit, and it has held up well, but it doesn't get moved very few days the way a lot of Receptors do. We also recommend that a person upgrade their fans if using a 400GB drive since it definitely gets hotter than a 160 or 200GB drive.
Its important to realize that this is nothing to do with Receptor; our data of "more platters meaning more fragile drives" comes from keyboard technicians who have been touring for quite some time, as well as live recording people using ProTools and Nuendo who report that they tend to have more problems with the larger capacity drives...
