It crashes, but doesn't freeze or go to the BSOD on my PC --- it just blinks off. I tried reinstalling 2.0.2.8 but when I brought up a project it did it again. When I reinstalled I got a warning that 'ReWire did not initialize properly' and when I brought up a project with Reason connected thru ReWire it says 'unknown error'.
Does anyone have a copy of the previous version of T2?

Maybe I didn't make myself clear. Tracktion 2 is crashing on my computer in a way that I've never seen a program crash before. One minute I'm working along fine, the next it blinks off and I'm looking at the desktop - no explanation, no freezing, no blue screen of death, nothing. Just blink and it's gone.
My appeal is for the someone to provide me with the version of Tracktion before 2.0.2.8, because for some reason I have a feeling that installing that may solve my problem.

Try uninstalling first and then reinstall. I had kind of a similar problem where Tracktion never looked like it launched, but looking at task manager showed it running using nearly 100% of my cpu. Reinstalling over the top did nothing. Uninstall/reinstall cured it.

Thanks guys. I've already tried to uninstall and reinstall and I'm still having the same problem.
Could it have anything to do with having hyperthreading disabled on my comp? Or a bad plugin?
