Missed this yesterday. Well, that could come in very handy where I have decent 24-bit WAV samples of the single-hit flavor for exotic instruments (or even brass, come to think of it). Porting those into WusikSND format, and being able to create unique presets, yeah, that's a selling point alright!manytone wrote:Hi Guys
Well we have 1 more surprise to announce before we release ManyGuitar.
I present to you the first look at:

Good thinking, Paul.

Hi liqihliqih wrote:should work for EVE too, right Paul?
since once you saved the wusikSND you can easily convert it to DASHsnd
Yes i guess one could do that.
We have also knocked about the idea of perhaps being able to make a version that saves DASHsnd files direct. (I think we can do this)
But not sure how we could distribute it, as this is only available as a Bonus with a Manytone Purchase. Perhaps we can figure out something here though as I know your users would like this app too. We were thinking of making a small Soundset Pack for Eve at some point anyways. hmmmmm
Let me think here for a bit and talk it over with Greg.

Seeing as DashSND and WusikSND are almost the exact same format, surely it wouldn't take alot of changing to be able to choose to export as Dash or Wusik, would it?manytone wrote:Hi liqihliqih wrote:should work for EVE too, right Paul?

And what about ManyGuitar- are the files in DashSND, or WusikSND?
As a UBK owner, I am very much looking forward to this, thanks guys!

Yes ... it should be very easy to do a Dash Version i think ... but it may be a bit tougher to have one app save both. I am checking this with Greg now.pw wrote:Seeing as DashSND and WusikSND are almost the exact same format, surely it wouldn't take alot of changing to be able to choose to export as Dash or Wusik, would it?manytone wrote:Hi liqihliqih wrote:should work for EVE too, right Paul?

ManyGuitar is all in Wusiksnd format as that is what our other products are in.
That way everything definately works the best together and all our Soundsets can load in any of our Products.

Hi Guys
Some extremely GOOD News for the mapper.
I just got word from Greg that he now has it opening existing WusikSND files. This means that you can reload and recompile a different mapping out of existing sets...
We are still testing this fully but first reports are that it is working Perfect
This feature may not make the initial mapper release.(due to we need to fully test a bit more)
But i tell you what .... THIS IS AWESOME!!!!
I think a few of you really wanted this.
Cheers to GREG!

Both these latest peices of news are very very welcome indeed.
I've been using an advance copy(the original not the new and improved) Paul has graciously provided me for a few days now, and I can attest that this is an outstanding program. A must have for all WusikEngine and Dash player users who like to roll their own.

Nice analogy.Bassballjg wrote:A must have for all WusikEngine and Dash player users who like to roll their own.
I started making ManyTone Mapper because I was fed up with all the other editors out there not working how I wanted them to.
