Tracktion Software

The new M-Audio ProjectMix I/O states thatit supports any software that supports Mackie Control mode. Does Tracktion support Mackie Control mode?

If so, wil that mean all of the features of the control surface will be available?

I have no idea, but here's how you find out:

Set your ProjectMix to Mackie support mode (if needed).

Go to Tracktion. Select the settings tab, go to external controls, and select Mackie Control Universal, and the MIDI input/output your device is connected to. Now go to the edit tab and test whether it works.

Thanks but unfortunately I dont own one yet. I'm trying to find out before I order.

that's a question you may want to fire at m-audio support then. They should be able to give you an idea of just how well the device emulates the MCU. If it emulates it well, you should be up and running with one just fine in T.
