Strings Don't Stop

Hello,
When I try to use a soundfont that is for strings (or synthesized strings), or the SampleTank strings, sometimes the strings don't stop. They just keep sounding the last note that was played. I can go to my keyboard and hit a key and the note will continue to sound.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Chinmay

There's been a stuck-note issue for years that still remains in the last release version. It might have been fixed in the latest beta.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

My work around is to click onto the settings page, then back to the main edit page again. This acts as a kind of 'all notes off' message.
Annoying, slow, but at least it works

Seems like this issue has been around since T1. Surprising that they haven't been able to fix it by now given the amount of people that have experienced it. I was looking to get the PMI Bosendorfer for GigaStudio, but apparently the stuck note is a big problem when trying to ReWire GigaStudio to Tracktion.

Leaving e-to-e on seems to work fine for me (at least when using SampleTank for the synth), but that may peak out your CPU, depending on track count, effects, CPU speed, etc.
Not an issue on my current machine, with the low ( < 20) track counts I've been working with recently.

I have this issue too but mostly when sending midi notes to external hardware. And there is worse bug when in loop is on - if notes are at the beginning of the loop then they aren't played.

the loop with first note not played has mysteriously re appeared with the newest release. and this regardless where the clip is in the edit.Radek wrote:I have this issue too but mostly when sending midi notes to external hardware.
