Hi, Im looking for something along the lines of Sonic Implant's Afro-Cuban Percussion Kit.

there´s a sampling cd called "Wizoo Percussion" around, which is quite nice, but i don´t know how it compares to the Sonic Implant´s.

I don't know Afro-cuban percussion kit but Latigo does a lot of Latin percussion if that's what you're after.

Not sure about the stuff mentioned here but have you checked out the Doru Malaia stuff. I grabbed the 230 Ethnic Percussion disc and it's pretty sweet. Do a search within this Samples, Sampling forum and you will find the thread. He has a couple of free samples as well.

Same here. Also check out the other two DVDs, at least one of them has some cool percussion too. Great samples, at low prices, from a great man who won't let you down in case of trouble with the mail company.

Sounds great but Im not looking for chiness sounds. African percussion type sounds or hard and deep wood percussion.
