Site is working, actually, now there is a more of the same "modelling" girl, flash animated with audio clip of 80's metal riffing.
(or it was there already? I was not checking this site)
One thing I will never understand btw is that you can get POD XT for 300 or Guitar port for 100 bucks (Hardware cost, Software development costs, serious marketing costs)
Behringer stuff for very low price, something like 150 bucks or even less, (software and hardware costs, probably less spent on developement), and on the other hand you have all this software sims that were more expensive even without hardware front end, and now with hardware front ends, they are still more expensive.
I am not getting this. I mean, havig chance to reamp etc is nice, but I mean... really. Where is a logic there?

And let's not forget you can just take the POD with you to any studio you like. Not so with AT or GR, unless you got a laptop.

I reckon who is plugged into the POD has more influence on the sound that comes out, then the accuracy of the models in POD..in other words if you can't get a good sound out of a POD or even just a Sansamp then none of these sims will save the day for you...it's time to go back to guitar tone 101...

Amplitube 2 supposed to be released this month!!!
Should be nominated "title of the year" for one of the longest running threads on KVR.
Never before was there a title that better captured the spirit of a thread and remained
"true" (in a false sence
) and up to date throughout the entire year.
May it become obsolete soon.....Amen

LOL, yes, the choice of the thread title was very strategic indeed. The killer and most preeminent and successful feature though was the inclusion of the distinctive three exclamation marks. At the beginning I thought, "well, I will put one exclamation mark", but then that exclamation mark spoke to me! It told me stories about the different dots it had relations with, about the different letters it tried to hump, but most important of all, it told me how lonely it felt. "What the heck" I said to myself, all that an extra exlammation point is going to cost me is a bit of tear and wear on the SHIFT and the 1 keys", so I added an extra one, making sure I pressed the keys in such a soft and gentle way as to produce a female exclamation mark. Success!! ... As for the third exclamation mark, we have to refer to the second term used to call these nifty little creatures: "bang". Nine seconds later, a third exclamation point was born, and they all lived happily ever after....that is until Amplitube2 gets released and they become obsolete

Things looks bad for AT2: many Komplete owners will upgrade and get GR2. Others will go for the line6 TonePort. I think the premature announcement of AT2 was a very bad move. Some people may wait for it still, but many are fed up with the long, long wait.

Works wonders for me and my friend Andy also. The amount of crabs we've gotten on Friday nights thanks to the old "Andy Andy" gag. Priceless.Hink wrote:you two appear side by side in many threads "Andy Andy" (a Cheers episode like I said before)...
