I love you guys...

A Phenomenal band known as the Cardiacs are quite successful. They have a hardcore fanbase, and they gig all the time in many different places.

I have it on good authority that the bassist, Jim, is an electrician. And the rest of the band have day-jobs too.

This is to the people who want to "live from their music" - why? Why would you want to play ball with tossers like Sony BMG? Why would you want to even feed the fire? Get a real f**king job and do music in the spirit as what it is.

My plan? I don't exactly have one, but I don't plan to be just a musician or artist. I want to do something else as well, maybe become a researcher, or a teacher, hell, maybe I'll even become a maitre d'

But music will always be there for me to come home to.

Piracy IS stealing. However, if this would take out the evil monolithic juggernaut that is the record industry, i'd be willing to look the other way
