I have tried them all and was sooo confused until I switched to Babya Logic. It is by far the best and has full BabyaVSTi support and comes with babya Ultrasynth which is all you need to make TarnceHopCurnk Tracks to be a BabyaStar!    :!:

Acid is great for loops and hopeless for just about everything else. MIDI is woeful and VSTi hosting practically unusable. Rumours now of Acid-6 for NAMM. Free stickers and crazy-twirly drinking straw with every copy.

I hang around the net with alot of musicians that use sony Acid , im sick of telling them if they use cubase they'll have a much better ride in the long run.

could you please add more reasons here why they should be using cubase rather than Acid as im sick of telling them.
If your friends are happy with using Acid Pro, when why bother?

And beside, I think FL Studio, Orion, Project5 & Live are better deals (IMHO) than Cubase or Acid Pro. But thats another arguement................ :D

If you are happy with Cubase, keep using it. If they are happy with Acid, let them keep using it. If they aren't missing anything from the experience then why does it matter?

There is more than one kind of host for a reason.
But thats the whole problem , their forever having problems with softsyth's etc , and i keep telling them because Acid is crap at running softsynths.
....but your friend loves the user-friendly approach to audio recording & loop arrangements in Acid Pro.

If thats the REAL cases, forget about Cubase. You & your friends should try Live. At least that hosts can run softsynths WAY better than Acid Pro. :D
