Time sig question

Hello,

Can somebody explain what happens when one does delete time sigs or tempo?

eg
meas 1 = 2/4
meas 2 = 3/4
meas 3 = 3/8
meas 4 = 4/4

Now I delete tempo at meas 3
what should happen to the measures?

Back from work.
Now the same but delete the tempo at measure 2.
Can somebody try this out.

Should be:
meas 1,2 = 2/4
meas 3 = 3/8
meas 4 = 4/4

This is what I get.

Ah, I see. Yeah, that makes sense, because that's where the location of the time sig change was before (T2 allows you to change time sig anywhere in the measure).

I understand but why does Tracktion not keep its original position in the first example.
