Tempo Source - What am I doing wrong?

I go to the SETUP page and change "Tempo Source" to "External" and yet synths with tempo sync just do NOT sync to Sonar. They do work when I load the same VST's on the PC, and on my FXTeleport Slave. So, what am I doing wrong in Receptor-land?

Well I could have SWORN that I had done this already, but...I went back and looked and I had the WRONG MIDI outputs as receiving "MIDI Sync". Once I changed it to the one the Receptor is on, it of course works fine.
