Hi;
I'm the guy with the feedback issues.
Just installed Amplitude and sampletrack, did the instal and authorazation. no sounds.

I know Traction2 is working b/c the Atura CS-80 VST works just fine.

Any thoughts?

Sincerely;

Sampletank?

My thought is that you don't have e-to-e enabled. ;) Or the track is muted.

you are funny....

it's Amplitube not Amplitude
and Sampletank not Sampletrack
Tracktion and not Traction
and also Arturia and not Atura

apart from that I don't know what could cause this problem.. maybe you can elaborate on this..maybe tell more about your specs or what you did exactly

Because it's a virtual instrument. To play a real instrument like a guitar, the actual input device ALSO needs its e-to-e enabled, and not just the global e-to-e. Surely you know this, Mr. Muhlenbergbaumgartner!

I truly know (virtually) almost nothing. Then again I have this really smart friend, Graduated Astro physics at 15. He used to say (and I quote) "Thinking is for dummies".

I got to go.

Heh, in case I wasn't being clear, when I said "Surely you must know..." I was speaking to Mully. ;)

For the device that you want to send through Amplitube, click its icon on the left, and the properties panel in the bottom will bring up some options. Make sure its end-to-end is enabled.

and here I always thought Sampletank was a VSTi... but hell I may have been wrong after all

Aha! Now I see the mix-up. That one was clearly miscommunication on my part:

When I said "Sampletank?" I was correcting his spelling. Then the next part was referring to Amplitube, not Sampletank.

:oops:

Now that I look back at it, that one was clearly my mistake. :D Sorry Mully! :hug:
