if anyone wants trance kiddie sounds with a knob they can adjust for unison detune and a knob they can adjust to add noise and distortion, it would be a much smarter investment for them to buy fm7.
these are exaclty the sounds i want. wouldn't you say that makes me a pretty smart guy for buying fm7?

Post

it seems my dx-7 has a dynamic range of much greater than 96db..

bern; i thought you were asking about those sounds in those mp3s? :?

Post

just curious, besides me who else has actually seem chick corea live?
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

btw, then synths weren't my thing ('82 or '83) ;)

I saw RTF a couple times back during the '70s and '80s. To be honest, I liked them a lot better in the early days with Bill Connors than after Al DiMeola came on board...

you guys have emotions about fm7 like kiddies have about synth1.
and you keep coming back, too.

absolutely right, i was. so? i just wondered if maybe this awesome fm7 i bought for all the trance music i make could also make some decent dx7 sounds like chick corea used to use. is that confusing?

Stopping a show at 11:30?! Was it near a neighborhood with a bunch of old people? "Those damn jazz musicians. They're corrupting the minds of our young people with things like...dancing! *gasp*"

Who the hell is this Chick named Korea?

And why should I care about her DX7?

Post

if you're with a chick in korea stay away from the dmz (does that still exist?)
