Just would like to say how much I like DK+ - looks like it is going to replace RMIII as my main drum source. I especially like the random selection of samples according to velocity.

And I especially liked the price!

The only thing I miss is velocity cross-fading (unless I am missing something), but I can live with that.

All in all, I like this drum machine!

It's the only thing I use for drum samples

I've recently had a cull of all my extraneous VST instruments - very few have made the cut, and then they're all commerical ones (with the exception of Drumatic for electronic drums, which I also like a lot) DK+ is definitely staying put!

thank Rich!

BTW crossfading in drum samples could be problematic for phase issues, producing an annoying flanger effect AFAIK

I still haven't figured out how you record DK+ in a sequencer. I get great results playing with it realtime, but I really want to record a midi track and be able to reproduce and edit it.

you have two options:

1) control patterns thru channel 16 (see manual)
2) export the patterns as MIDI files and use them
in your host to play the DK+

I think I may have interesting possibilities for #1 with a foot controller. Thanks, I'll try it.

True, but with careful editing, it's more than possible. As different hits tend to be a slightly different pitch, it tends not to be too much of a problem.
