I have purchased a commercial VST that I would like to use in unsupported mode. Unfortunately it's "installer" puts a serial number entry in the Registry. It's easy enough to EXTRACT that entry in Windows....my question is, is there any way to manually ADD that entry to the Registry on Receptor?
Thanks in advance

Most plugins (that requires serial numbers) when u instantiate for the first time would pop a serial number entry window for you to enter the serial number, if you havent done so when running their installer. In your case, try copying all the required files including the dll to the unsupported folder and install it and instantiate it to see if it allows you to enter ur serial number then. Entering the numbers in the popup would make the necessary entries in the receptor registry.
If you cant enter the numbers and if you are comfortable with using the regedit program, we can provide you with an installer which will help you make the entries by running the regedit program from the Register Plugin section.
