T1.6 to T2.0.2.8 on Pismo G3 400?

I'm holding on to my Pismo G3 400 running OS 10.3.9 until the Mac-Intel laptops come out. I've got T2 running on a faster G5 computer, but I end up using my Pismo more often for convenience.
Question 1: T1.6 works fine on the Pismo for small projects (I render the MIDI tracks). Can I expect the same with T2 (except with the additional features)?
Question 2: If I install T2, can I still run T1.6 if I find problems with T2? T2 won't keep T1.6 from running properly will it?
Questions 3: Was the freezing cursor bug fixed? The workaround is to take it back to the start and then it moves again.
Thanks,
Dave
(looking forward to T2.1 and hopefully the ability to merge clips and name markers)

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll load my other license on the laptop tonight and give it a go.
In case you're still around, any word on a T2.1 release date and would you know if the ability to merge audio clips and name markers has been added?

those that do know are bound by a NDA & cant inform others of souch things
beno is the only person here that could reply to that & i think he to is bound by rules (unless he got a verry big promotion)
& would you realy want to spoil the fun by finding out before time?

Who said anything about a 2.1
Yeah T2 and T1 work just fine on the same machine, especially on a mac. I just have a folder in my Applications folder called Tracktion, and I have virtually every build of Tracktion still in there. Just launch the one you wish to use. Easy.
And the freezing cursor bug should be fixed. I haven't had it for quite a while now so I can't remember exactly when it was sorted.

I'm not in a big rush. It had been awhile since I checked through the 2 forums and last night I noticed the "wish list" and some mention of hopeful additions in the next big upgrade.Beno wrote:Who said anything about a 2.1![]()

I did just load 2.0.2 onto my laptop and it works just fine. It actually runs smoother than MS Word (which is downright ridiculous, but "oh well").
Thanks again for the quick responses and great program,
Dave Gage
