This Software has some serious Problems, i installed on Win XP like the manual said, but i got a strange GUI and no Presets. :x
Strange enough there is a U-HE Folder in my Win Programm, which seems to hold the Presets, but in the Presetwindow of the GUI it just says "Initialize" .
No matter what i tried, and i am not a newbie in Win and VST Stuff. Everywhere i hear how good the U-HE VST`s are, but i also hear about a lot of Problems installing them. I searched here on the board but couldn`t find a solution. Please help me . :(

Hi,

First of all I'd say calm down, most problems with gui's\presets seem to be about misplaced files and are easy to solve ;)

Make sure that you have the correct file structure, for example:

vstplugins\Zebralette\ZebraletteWin\

Inside the ZebraletteWin directory should be the "Zebralette.dll" and "uhe_data" directory.

No knobs on Podolski or Zebralette, you mean like this?

If so, could you tell system specs and what host you're using?

Don't forget it is a beta. The whole point is to iron out bugs (if this is one) before official release.

Anyway - what host are you using?

Uhm, Podolski and Zebralette aren't betas... they are magazine freebies on German KEYBOADS mag...

What happens most times is that people don't extract the folder hierarchies when unzipping. But as it's already unzipped on the CD, they just don't copy the whole directory into their Vstplugins location, as described in the respective manual.

If it still doesn't work, the Zebralette manual has the hint to msvcr71.dll on its first page.

If the knobs don't show up as Moondive already encountered, this would be the second case known, but I have no idea what the host might do wrong or what it might corrupt.

Cheers,

;) Urs

Now Guys you won`t believe this. It might be interisting for you too, Urs.

Its not like the Picture MoonDive linked here. In my case you could`nt see the Knobs like it should, but there are Knobs.

Cause i wanted Urs Synth so bad, i didn`t give up. And a moment ago it came to my mind, well maybe its because my desktop Color is 32Bit and Urs Synths don´t like that. and guess what, i switched the fu....g desktop to 16 bit, and everything runs like hell. If i would get an Euro for every our Windows annoys me, i would be rich (well almost) :D

Thanks anyway for hints, and trying to help.

it's prolly a GFX driver prolem...Neoc, what gfx card are you using, and are you using the latest drivers?

I'm using 32bit color depth and both are running fine here with my GeForce 6800GT with Forceware 81.95, WinXP Home SP2.
