problems with remote control and Ilok

Hi ... i'm a new muser from Portugal!

I'm having problems with the Remote Control software and with Ilok.

Whit the remote software, it gives me "VNC error, can't connect to server" window

I have a xpc amd2800+ nforce2 WinXp pro, router connecting Receptor and another pc, all lan is working fine.

the firewall ( anti virus etc etc ) in windows and router are disabled.

I can see the workgroup of my pcs and Receptor, and I can use the hardrive of Receptor in the lan.

the remote control software detects the receptor, and his name, but fails to run.

i didnt install anything in receptor, or changed any option.

router ip 192.168.1.001
pc ip 192.168.1.002
receptor 192.168.1.003

my problem with Ilok his:

I can install the Ilok, register in the site, and see it on my pc... ( followed every step ) but when I try to syncronize and upload my licences it gives a endless " please wait a moment "

does remote control ( or receptor) need some kind of ports or fixed ip's?

about Ilok, is it incompatible with certaisn antivirus, adware removers, or using a router?

We had several customers who disabled all their firewall protection, and they still had problems until they completely uninstalled the firewall software. The fact that you have problems with both Remote Control and iLok suggests that there is still a firewall or similar problem.

BTW, your configuration with a router, a PC, and a Receptor and the IP addresses that you have is a very typical one and should work without any problems.

I have no problem with remote now. I just opened the ports in the router that VNC uses ( 5500 5800 5900 ) and acess the receptor by Ip instead of name...
