Are we really this spoiled? I can remember sequencing MIDI with cubase on an ATARI computer. It was B&W, ugly as hell but we didn't care because it got the job done (ok, most of the time). Suck it up you big babies.

Someone should put you out!Baniev wrote:I´m on fkucing fire!
FL Studios GUI is unique and imaginitive.
I like the dark aspect.
It inspires me.
I like that the minimise exit buttons are
in a "non-standard" place.
I like the Pattern mode and the track mode.
I like just about everything about FL.
People who don't get FL haven't looked
very deeply into it ...
Maybe the only criticism I could make of FL
is the "average" sample library that comes
with it.
But if you use a decent sample library and
a couple of good quality 3rd party VSTi
it is easily the most powerful looping
sequencer on the market.....

I wouldnt call the sample library average. The factory library yes, but the ones you get for free from sample fusion are great, imo..

I wish there was less fancy colors in pretty much any product. Its nice to see a synthesizer that looks fancy and all but a sequencer I'd rather prefer being plain and boring.Dozius wrote:Are we really this spoiled? I'd love it if the GUI colors/shading could be changed the same way that programs like synth1 or winamp do. Color schemes would be mighty hot.
Sure, it would take the user a while to tweak all the RGB values for stuff like button highlights, button shadows, text color, but it would go a long way.

It could be franky! It could be very fresh and clean!

I prefer minimal clean design myself, but I don't care what things look like as long it doesn't interfere with the functionality of the device.arke wrote:I wish there was less fancy colors in pretty much any product.

Baniev, dear sir, you are one bold, brazen turkey. (Idiot). You borrow/P-I-R-A-T-E! some software, you come here to this site that frowns heavily upon software piracy and you commence a whiney rant about the quality of the gui. Here's a quarter, now go call someone who cares. I thought that I might ignore your posts for a while, but I find myself feeling somewhat insulted by your presence in this thread. Your commencement of this thread should be felt as an insult by anyone with even a small smidgeon of integrity or honesty. At the end of the summer a friend has lent my cubase SX 1 which is developed in 2002, i´ve run it first time and i thought, poa oh my god what is this futorisitic studio, is this from the future or from aliens or another planet, the guy of cubase looks apsolute awesome and i think it´s changeable, too. The FL Studio guy looks like a old gameboy gamemenu and i every day i work with it my head hurts and i must take 2 or 3 asperins Mad Mad Mad !

As long as the VST housing windows are scrollable... I'll be hap-hap-happy.
